Seniors:   If you are receiving an outside scholarship or award from your intended college or university and would like this to be recognized at Senior Scholarship & Awards Night, please bring a copy of your award letter to the Guidance Office by May 19th.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Neave.    (10-19)

 

Drive Your Tractor To School Day will be held on Friday, May 20.   In order to participate in this event you must fill out the permission form that is in the High School Office and attend a meeting today during advisement with Mrs Malone.  Permission forms are due to Mrs Malone today.              (17)

 

ALL Students in grades 9-11 need to bring their school-issued Chromebook, matching charging cord, and Chromebook carrying case to school with them daily starting on Monday, 5/23 through Thursday, 5/26 (until their device has been checked over by IT & library personnel).  Students will be called to the library during this time frame where their devices will be checked over for possible repairs and to ensure each student still has the equipment needed to charge the Chromebook and keep it safe.                    (18-20)

 

Attention all students:    The sign-up for competing for the football team this fall is now open.  Coach Maranell sent an email to all students with information about signing up.  Anyone that is interested is encouraged to sign-up by clicking on the link in the email.  See Coach Maranell if you have any questions.                    (13-20)

 

Attention Senior Parents:    Please check your foodservice account balances. Unless there is a younger sibling in the district you will need to do one of the following.    You have several choices for using up your money prior to year end.   1) Spend   2) Donate to Angel Fund    3) Parents get a refund check.  Feel free to call Lorrie Wanty in Food Service if you have any questions regarding your students food service account balance.               (16-19)

Anyone interested in joining HGHS Cross Country for the 2022 season should plan to attend a runner & parent meeting in the High School library on Tuesday, May 24th at 6pm.  Any questions contact Coach Hager.   khager@hgtigers.com                        (17-24)

 

Any girls interested in participating in Volleyball for the 2022-23 school year should sign up in the High School Office by Friday, June 3.            (9-13)

 

Job Posting:   The Howards Grove School District is looking for student help in the custodial/maintenance department.  Must be 16 years old to apply and have a drivers license. Starting pay is $10.87/hour.  If interested stop in the High School Office to pick up an application.        (21-May)
